Field Trip #2: Sandia Cave
Meet up at 08:30 am this coming Saturday (Nov. 4th) behind the Biology department building. Gary will meet you there and drive with you to the site.
If coming from elsewhere: take the Placitas exit from I-25 and park at the Sandia Cave parking lot (google it). Takes about an hour to get there from UNM. Be there by 09:30am.
I imagine that we will be there until early afternoon-ish. We will probably go to both Sandia and Marmot Caves (a short hike from Sandia). Wear clothes that can get dusty as some scooting around on dirt will ensue.
I will email a few papers about the site.
