Two litters per year; gestation about 13 days, about 21 young but only 13 mammae, on average 6-9 young found in pouch
Young first release grip on mammae at 50 days old, leave pouch temporarily at 70 days, are independent at 3-4 months
Sexual maturity at 6-8 months, females have 2 years of reproduction.
